(Beijing Jan 4th Xinhua) China Foreign Exchange Trading Center data show that today's central parity rate of RMB against the U.S. dollar appreciation of 10 consecutive trading days, up to 1 U.S. dollar against 6.6215 yuan, setting a record high since the exchange rate reform.
China Foreign Exchange Trade Center announced today the interbank foreign exchange market, dollar and other currencies against the yuan central parity rate of 6.6215 yuan against one U.S. dollar, 1 euro 8.8301 yuan, 8.0977 yuan against 100 yen, 0.85213 yuan against one dollar, 1 Sterling 10.2527 yuan.
1 day before the yuan central parity of 6.6227 against the dollar.
Xinhua news agency said that the recent strong market demand for Treasuries, the dollar decline in U.S. bond yields affected. In this context, the central parity of RMB against the dollar this year, 1 day higher trend continued last year.
